ELSA Levels 1-3

The Beginner Class meets from 9AM – 1PM Monday to Thursday throughout the year. Learners are welcome to join the class at any time. This class accommodates learners from a literacy level (unable to read or write in their own language) up to upper beginners. When learners have finished this program they can attend the upper level class that we provide.

What training do elsa 1-3 students receive?

ELSA 1-3 students:
- Practice the language skills of listening, speaking, reading & writing
- Aquire sufficient competence not merely to survive but to begin to participate in Canadian society
- Learn about topics such as banking, education, employment, family life, housing and nutrition.
- Go on field trips
- Listen and speak with guest speakers
- Have parties
- Do cooking

When learners have finished this program, they can attend the upper level class that we provide.
